Laura Josephine Mahorney, for many years a resident of this county, died Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at an Evansville hospital after an illness of many years. Chronic cardiac insufficiency was given as the cause of death.
Mrs. Mahorney had been a patient of a hospital for the past twenty-seven years. She was born two miles west of Crawfordsville on December 8, 1876, the daughter of Samuel and Malinda Busenbark. On June 3, 1896 she was married to Daniel Mahorney of Ladoga.
Surviving are the husband, two sons, George of Ladoga and Samuel of Omaha, Nebraska, the mother, one sister, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Wade funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Interment will be at the Harshbarger Cemetery north of Ladoga.
